What is a SICAV?

A SICAV is an incorporated publicly traded open-end investment fund structure (a Fund/a Company) offered and regulated in western Europe. Shares in the Fund are bought and sold based on the current net asset value of the Fund. A SICAV functions as the “umbrella” investment company under which sub-funds are formed e.g. the Rezco Global Flexible Fund, each distinguishable by their specific investment policy or other specific feature.

What is a UCITS?

An incorporated fund structure (e.g. the Rezco SICAV) that qualifies as an as an undertaking for collective investment in transferable securities akin to mutual funds (United States of America) or a registered collective investment scheme (South Africa). A UCITS is intensely regulated and is seen to be a safe investment vehicle.

Where is the Rezco SICAV registered?

The Rezco SICAV is registered in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Is the REZCO SICAV regulated?

Yes. The Rezco SICAV is regulated by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) which is responsible for the financial regulation in Luxembourg.

What is a Prospectus?

A legal document approved by the CSSF and issued by the Company setting out the details about the investment offering for sale to the public. The prospectus can be accessed by clicking here.

What is a KIID?

A Key Investor Information Document (KIID) is a legal document, the form and content of which is prescribed in law. It serves as simplified prospectus that provides investors with important disclosures and comprehensible content about a particular sub-fund to supply a potential investor with the minimum information required to make an investment decision.

What is the difference between a KIID and a Fund Fact Sheet?

The KIID is a minimum disclosure document required in terms of Luxembourg law. A Fund Fact Sheet is not required in terms of Luxembourg law, but provides additional information regarding the sub-fund that may be informative for an investor/potential investor, i.e. top ten holdings, asset allocations etc.
