Rezco Value Trend Classification Change

Posted · Add Comment

ASISA has proposed that we consider a move for the REZCO Value Trend Fund from the South African Multi-Asset Flexible Category to the South African Multi-Asset High Equity Category effective from 1 July 2014.  ASISA is the Financial Services Industry body that represents the majority of the country’s asset managers, collective investment scheme management companies, linked investment service providers, multi-managers and life insurance companies.

The reason for the proposal by ASISA  is that we  manage  the REZCO Value Trend Fund according to the parameters specified by ASISA for the Multi-Asset High Equity Category and therefore it is a better fit  for the fund to be in that sector. It places REZCO Value Trend in a category with a more comparable and appropriate set of peers against which to compare performance.

Nothing changes in the way the fund is managed or in the investment style and philosophy. This is simply an administrative sector change.

The purpose of this update is communicate this change.  No action is required by you.  This classification change does not affect your investment with REZCO Asset Management at all. It is merely an ASISA classification change.

We thank you for entrusting the care of your capital to us and we remain committed to our goal of delivering risk adjusted returns for our investors.
